At Hey Creator, we respect your privacy and your right to control your personal data. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.
This page explains what data will be deleted, how to request deletion, and what to expect during the process.
When you delete your account, we will permanently remove:
Profile information (name, email, bio)
Account credentials and login data
Connected social media accounts
Cached social media analytics
Profile photos and uploaded images
Campaigns, boards and reports (brand accounts: 30 days after the request, unless handed over to your team first)
Application history (if creator account)
Messages and communications
Preferences and settings
Usage history and logs
Bank and payment details (from your profile)
All other personally identifiable information
Some information may be retained for legitimate business or legal purposes:
Anonymized, non-identifiable data used for platform insights and improvements
Agreed rates, payment amounts and statuses, invoices, subscriptions and billing requests are kept for 5 years for tax, with your name, contact and bank details removed, then deleted.
Posts you delivered on a campaign stay with that brand (the post link, screenshots and metrics), with your name, handle and contact details removed from their records.
Information required to comply with legal obligations or ongoing legal matters
Limited data to prevent abuse and protect platform security
Retained records are de-identified: your name, contact and bank details are removed from them.
Delete your account yourself from Settings. Email is the fallback for anyone who can no longer sign in.
Creators: My Profile → Settings. Brands: Profile → Settings (brand admins only).
At the bottom of Settings, under Account, click Delete account. The dialog lists exactly what is removed and what is kept.
Type DELETE. If you signed in more than five minutes ago you will be asked for your password (or to sign in again with Google, Facebook or Apple) so nobody else can delete your account from an open session.
Your connected platforms are disconnected at the vendor, your profile, login and personal records are removed at once, and you are signed out. A brand admin whose team still has other members must transfer or remove them first.
Public data about your social handles that HeyCreator already held (follower counts, public posts) is shared data: it is kept, but unlinked from you and stripped of anything you consented to share through a connected account.

We may ask you to verify your identity to prevent unauthorized deletions
You will receive a confirmation email within 48 hours
Access your Hey Creator account and open My Profile → Settings.
Under your connected accounts, click Disconnect next to any platform.
Disconnecting immediately revokes our access to that platform and removes its data from your profile.
Disconnecting removes individual platform connections. To delete your entire account, use Delete account in Settings (Option 1).
Deleting from Settings takes effect immediately: your login, profile and personal records are removed and your connected platforms disconnected while you wait. Backups are purged within 90 days. For an email request, here's what to expect:

If you only want to disconnect social media accounts without deleting your Hey Creator account:
This will revoke Hey Creator's access to your social media data while keeping your Hey Creator account active.
No. Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once deleted, you cannot recover your account or data.
No. We only delete data stored on Hey Creator. Your social media profiles and content remain unchanged.
Active campaigns will be cancelled and brands will be notified. Applications will be withdrawn. Please complete or cancel campaigns before deletion.
We automatically revoke access when you delete your account, but you can also manually remove Hey Creator from your social media settings.
Deleting from Settings signs you out at once and your login no longer exists. For an email request we send a final confirmation once deletion is complete. You can also contact us to verify.
